How things workHeating, hot water, the balcony door

The heating dial is in the hallway — 21 is comfortable in winter and it takes about twenty minutes to feel it.

Hot water is instant except first thing in the morning, when it takes a minute to come through.

The balcony door sticks in damp weather. Lift the handle rather than pulling harder.
